We learned over the weekend of the sad death, aged 42, of Senegal and Premier League footballer Papa Bouba Diop. During his career he played for Portsmouth, Fulham, West Ham and Birmingham City. He is widely reported to have been a sufferer of Charcot-Marie-Tooth. At this stage the cause of his death is unknown.
